The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs deployed AI models and predictive analytics to collect near real-time input on service delivery and gather actionable insights that helped it restore veterans’ trust in its services.

"A small but growing number of companies are forming strategic partnerships and bringing AI solutions to the fields of drug discovery, diagnostics, patient care and claims management," says a new report.

The system, built as part of the organization's digital front door, has achieved both clinical and financial ROI and helped earn a Net Promoter Score of 72.

"We can identify things earlier compared to when a human would see it," said Gil Margolin, CTP with Talkspace, which uses linguistic regression to analyze de-identified behavioral health messages and alert providers to patients at risk for self-harm.
