At the first-ever HIMSS AI Leadership Strategy Summit in Chicago this past month, HIMSSCast decided to try something a little different: We recorded a special extended episode, live and in-person, with invited guests from the show.
And we did it as something of a "simulcast," alongside HIMSS fellow Christopher Kunney, a longtime healthcare technology thought leader and strategist, who is managing partner and digital transformation strategist at IOTech Consulting – and who also hosts his own podcast, Straight Outta Health IT. (You may remember him from the preview episode we recorded together back in August.)
Joining us for a wide-ranging discussion focused on data governance, decision support, executive-level strategy, staff buy-in, provider experience, digital transformation, data security and overarching questions about clinical, financial and operation ROI, were my colleague Susan Morse, executive editor of Healthcare Finance News; Rachini Moosavi, chief analytics officer at UNC Health; and Dr. Ryan Sadeghian, system CMIO at UToledo Health.
This episode is brought to you by athenahealth.
