RamSoft, Inc., a Toronto-based provider of IT solutions, has released a Spanish version of its PowerServer and Gateway products.
The new software platforms have been deployed in multiple radiology practices worldwide, RamSoft officials said, and the Spanish version replicates the RIS, PACS, Teleradiology and DICOM features such as workflow management, image routing, diagnostic image viewing and manipulation, and patient scheduling, reporting and billing.
“By using RamSoft’s web based solutions over a secure, high-speed internet connection, Spanish speaking Radiologists will be able to assist each other in those regions where there is a shortage of Radiologists," says Marilyn Solano, director of business development for RamSoft, Inc. "Our overall goal is to continue improving patient care around the globe with our latest technology."
PowerServer and Gateway products are a line of RIS, PACS, Teleradiology and DICOM solutions designed to fit multiple Radiology environment. Based on an annual study volume licensing model, RamSoft officials said the products are not limited by number of users or workstations. The PowerServer RIS/PACS is built on a single platform sharing the same database to improve workflow and data management and is designed to eliminate other operational costs such as film.
